4TH WALL PLAYERS PERFORMING TARTUFFE AT STAGE DOOR IN IRVINGTON

Theatre company combines classic literature with a modern flair.

Dateline: INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, June, 2024 — The 4th Wall Players will be performing “Tartuffe”, the classic comedy written by Molier. The summer production will once again be directed by Josh Gibson, who was in the chair last summer. Kelli Gibson will be making her assistant directorial debut beside him.

“A couple of years ago, we came up with a concept as a group to start performing non-Shakespeare classics over the summer” says Josh, “Last summer was such a success that it seemed only natural to follow up with another satire, written in a similar vein but with a slightly heavier tone. ”

Performances will be at Stage Door in Irvington (5235 Bonna Ave) July 12-14 & 19-21. Friday and Saturday shows will be @ 7:30pm and Sunday matinees will be @ 2pm.  Tickets are $14and will be available at the door, or you can pre-purchase on their new website; www.4thwallplayers.org

The 4th Wall Players was founded in 2011 by Alan Keith and Josh Gibson. “Telling strong stories with dynamic characters top to bottom is what we always strive for as a group,” says Gibson, “and our actors this summer have been nailing it so far. This will definitely be a show you wont want to miss.”
