Gallery on Main: J. "Jimmy" Ostroski, Artist of the Month
Gallery on Main's Artist of the Month series features an exhibition of paintings by Branchburg, New Jersey-based artist J. “Jimmy” Otroski from July 1 through 31 2024. Admission is free, and the paintings are available for purchase. Join Gallery on Main for the opening reception on Saturday, July 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The subject of many of Ostroski’s paintings are local landmarks. A former teacher and construction worker, he says, “health issues have resulted in the cutting back of my hours as a construction/restoration consultant for a large architectural and engineering firm in New York City. However, happily, this has given me the opportunity to pick up the paint brush again, to find my personality as an ARTIST, and to refine my deliberately naïve, put-a-smile-on your-face-painting.”
