Silent Disco in the Park
Santa Cruz Ecstatic Dance is a unique expression of a global movement. It is a place for freeform dance and movement meditation with a rich musical tapestry spun by rotating resident DJs. It is a non-conversational space where we express with our bodies. All are welcome over 14 years of age.
The dance space is sacred. Move in the way that feels right for you. Dance however you wish. We support each individual’s range and style of expression while respecting and considering our impact on each other and the space.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. Bring water, hat, sunscreen, blanket, picnic and anything else you might need to dance deep, wide, and free! Very kid and pet friendly. Come be with community and get yer groove on!
Driving Directions and Parking:
We are dancing at Ocean View Park in the heart of Santa Cruz overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the San Lorenzo River, and the historic Boardwalk. Park anywhere on the street above or below the park. The park is adjacent to the river bike path for wheeled and pedestrian access from downtown and the transit center.
