Wine & Food Festival @ Ballantyne
Drink Eat Relax Events welcomes you to the Wine & Food Festival @ Ballantyne. On Saturday, April 20, guests are invited to savor a wide selection of local, national, and international wines, beers, and spirits while enjoying cooking demonstrations and gourmet delights from Charlotte's finest pop-ups and food trucks at Ballantyne's Backyard.
Culinary experts offering cooking demonstrations include Matt Barry, pitmaster/executive chef of Midwood Smokehouse, Jennifer Brulé, a nationally published food writer and former chef/owner of Davidson Ice House; Mike Bobb, Executive Chef at The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte; Andarrio Johnson, chef/owner of Cuzzo's Cuisine and William Williams, chef/owner of Seasoned Provisions.
"Our goal is to create an unforgettable epicurean journey for our guests," said Greg Nivens, Drink Eat Relax Food & Wine Festival organizer. "Whether you're a seasoned wine aficionado or simply someone who enjoys great food and music, there's something for everyone at our festival."
Ballantyne’s Backyard’s lush green space provides a lovely backdrop for wine and food enthusiasts to converge for a day of culinary offerings and indulgence. Guests will also enjoy live music by 'Mallow Hill' and 'Thurston Howell' on the main stage.
Participating food trucks include 5th Sin Food Truck, And Lobster, Fahrenheit Charlotte, Oh My Soul On The Moo've, Sandwich Express, Shrimply Delicious and Tex-a-Lina BBQ. Donut I Love You, Hula Whip and NC Sweet Tea will also be onsite for individuals with a sweet tooth.
VIP packages are available for those seeking an elevated experience, offering exclusive perks, including access to the Champagne Lounge, an additional hour of sampling, and more. VIP ticket holders will also receive a bottle of wine and a wine bag, complimentary bottled water, and access to VIP washrooms.
Tickets for the Drink Eat Relax Food & Wine Festival are available now, with special discounts for active or former military personnel. Ticket prices increase onsite.

(VALID 12 PM – 6 PM) Includes unlimited samples of all beverages, a bottle of wine from our curated selection and a wine bag, complimentary bottled water, access to VIP Champagne Lounge and Washrooms, entrance to the event one hour early in an exclusive session, plus all performances. $89
GENERAL ADMISSION:
(VALID 1 PM-6 PM) Includes a souvenir wine glass, unlimited samples, and all performances. $49
