LIFE + DEATH

LIFE & DEATH is a performance of live music, dance, and installation artwork created and presented by a group of Unraveled Artists who have reflected deeply on the transient process of existence and consciousness. Designed to engage multiple senses, LIFE & DEATH is presented as two separate, yet related simultaneous shows taking place across the hallway from one another in the multidisciplinary arts building, Asian Arts Initiative, in in Philadelphia's burgeoning Chinatown North neighborhood. Audience members are encouraged to walk between the LIFE and DEATH rooms as they wish.

The multimedia installation designs are built and two-hour dance performances are choreographed local Philadelphia artists Caitlin Dagle (LIFE) and Marina Kec (DEATH). Caitlin and Marina will respond to live music composed and performed by Philadelphia native, Corey Pace. Corey's music is fundamentally experimental and ambient, presenting a deeply emotional, reflective and almost meditative state of mind for his listeners.
