Lara Price Headlines The Backstage with the Ernie Durawa Band
Lara Price is a notable musician currently based in Austin, Texas. Originally from Vietnam, she was evacuated to the United States as part of Operation Baby Lift during the Vietnam War. Lara moved to Austin from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she had been a prominent figure in the local music scene for over two decades​​.
Lara's musical journey has seen her produce and co-write multiple albums, with her latest work being "I Mean Business." This album, released under the Vizztone Label Group, earned her a nomination for Best Soul/Blues Female Artist in 2017. She is recognized for her soulful blues style, often compared to legends like Gladys Knight and Mavis Staples​​.
Since relocating to Austin, Lara has been active in the local music scene, performing at venues such as the Red Gorilla Music Festival and Austin’s Bergstrom International Airport. She continues to network and perform at blues jams in the area, striving to establish a new band and further her musical career​.
